Lt. Daley C Battery, F. D. 39th Field Artillery replaced Lt. Nielsen. Sergeant John Rohrig, M Company 81MM Mortar Forward Observer remembers that Lt. Daly chewed him out because John's boots weren't shined. Later, John got his attention with a "Short Round" Lt. Richards Executive Officer are near the entrance to the company CP. Behind them is a personnel bunker. |
