Bad location for Harry and Howe |

Taking another look at the maps and photos after your email, Claude, I went through the following process. Any further comments or corrections would be appreciated. I took the picture below during the winter of 1952-1953 while standing where the red "X" is located in the lower left corner of the map. That was the hill right behind 3rd Infantry Battalion CP when I was on line. The red lines show my first connections between terrain features and the map. The picture does not extend itself to the right to show the location of Bn headquarters as shown on the map, but you can follow the ridgeline back from where the road crosses out of Happy Valley |

It is pretty obvious that I screwed up and put OP Harry and Artillery OP Howe on the wrong ridge line. Thanks for catching that one. |
