This photograph was taken during early spring of 1953 while standing on the left flank MLR while looking east. The Ch'orwon valley is west, behind me, and the MLR is North (to the left) up Happy Valley. The picture above does not show the Battalion CP location. The Battalion Command Post was located South (to the right) down the ridge-line shown.

picture above, but taken from
the south looking north. The picture at top was taken from the ridge
line of the hills shown at the left edge of the picture below. |
