Korean War maps

Click here to view a map showing locations of outposts Tom, Dick, and Harry relative to each other and to local landmarks in the Ch'orwon Valley North and East of the town of Ch'orwon. The map was annotated by Jim Jarboe for a color slide presentation he gave at a couple of reunions of the OP Harry Survivors Association.   Map courtesy of Jim Jarboe and used with his permission.

Click here for a map showing more area to the bottom and right of OP Harry including the locations of the Battalion CP (command post) and Artillery OP (observation post) Howe.  Map courtesy of Jim Jarboe and used with his permission.

Click here to view a map showing the Eight Army front line as of July 27, 1953.  This was the position of the line during the time I was in the combat zone.  It did not change before I left Korea.  Look for the town of Ch'orwon, then look to the left for the Iron Triangle to locate where the photos in this scrapbook were taken.

Click here to view a map showing the front as of March 31, 1953.  These maps are pretty bad, but do give some idea as to the relative location in Korea where all this took place.

Click here to view a PDF file with the map coordinates of some of the named terrain features of the Korean War.  This file was supplied courtesy of Martin Markley.
