Return home

This scrapbook starts after I've left the Korean combat zone and am in Inchon Korea waiting for my boat ride home.

Because of the heavy casualties toward the end of the Korean War, the troopship that we were to go home on had been pressed into use transporting wounded from Korea to Japan.  We were delayed for a week or so in Inchon while waiting for the troopship to return.

I spent much of my time at the officer's club looking out over the harbor hoping to spot our troopship returning.
