Aerial reconisance photo of Chorwon Valley looking almost due East

This is a not very good aerial shot that was made from an L-19 flying North over the Chorwon Valley looking almost due East. This pin has been copied at least three times photographically. As a result its lost a lot of the original quality. I got it and copied it from one of the OP Harry Survivors members who was variously in 15 Reg. K, L and Hq Co (where he was in S-2, thence the picture) The locations were apparently grease penciled onto the original print. The foreground of this oblique is the eastern edge of the Chorwon Valley. A barely visible notation at the upper right indicates the location of "Happy Valley".

I cannot make up my mind if the strange tonal values are due to some snow on the ground or (more likely) the result of using a heavy red filter, which we did frequently to penetrate haze. I think the altitude of the plane was probably about 6 or 7 thousand feet above terrain and the focal length of he lens was probably 12" on 5" wide aerial film.
