Mr. Cunningham,

I am flattered that you want me to be the guest speaker for your 2006 reunion. Yes, I will come and be the witness to your lives and sacrifices in our war-wrecked country more than half century ago.

I glanced through your web page as you have suggested. Your company's bravery before those devilish communists is unbelievable. Please be assured that we South Koreans are forever grateful to you for delivering us freedom at the cost of your blood and the lives of your fellow soldiers. With your help, today we're able to enjoy freedom.

In case you're interested, please check my other writings in the internet.

Please say hello to Veteran Sam Buck. I met him in 2003 at Center for the Study of the Korean War in Independence, Mo.

Most sincerely,

Therese Park

In the books listed in the web link above, Therese Park has written about her experiences as a Korean child living through the of the Korean War.
