Garry Mendez, Juanita (Johnson) Mendez and Don Dingee. Dingee presented the National Infantry Association Medal of St. Maurice in honor of Juanita's brother Charles Johnson who died on OP Harry the night of June 14,1953 in the act of successfully saving the lives of at least eight comrades one of whom was Don Dingee. |
